3    Health Finances 2012-13 and Beyond: Consideration of response from the Welsh Government

3.1 The Committee considered the response from the Welsh Government and noted that it did not provide information on the cost of pay protection in NHS Wales (Recommendation 12).  Members asked the Auditor General to look at this issue in the further work he has undertaken to do.

4.1 The Committee questioned Mark Jones,  Principal Gower College & Chair Colegau Cymru, on Senior Management Pay.

4.2 Mark Jones agreed to send the following information:

 

·       Further detail on how the figures for St David’s Catholic College and Coleg Gwent were reached

·       What constitutes a ‘benefit in kind’

·       Latest benchmark report from the Association of Colleges
